My Macbook's hard drive just crashed last Friday. When I turn it on a folder with a question mark in the middle just blinks and blinks and continues to blink. I can't just go down to the local fix it shops because 99% of people here have never even heard of an apple computer. Fortunately, there are some places in Cairo that can fix macs, so there is a viable solution to this problem.
That same day. Around the same time that my computer broke, my friend Jalel was returning home to spend the weekend with his family. It had been raining for the past 3 days, so the roads were really slippery and wet. At one moment that the rain was pouring down particularly hard, it just so happens that a mom and her two children were crossing the street. Now, we all know how this story ends. A car hits the three people and they immediately die. The car drives off, and as Jalel witnessed the accident he runs out to help these people. He can't do anything because they are dead, so he helps drag there bodies to the side of the road.
Anyways, I won't be able to update this blog for a while since I don't have a computer, but hey, there are worse things in life that could've happened.
